Gordian knot

相传公元前四世纪phrygia国王Gordius是，用一根绳打了一个复杂的死结，并声称谁能打开这个结，谁就能称霸亚洲。过了很多年，这个结一直没有被人打开。到了公元前三世纪，亚历山大帝(Alexand the Great)用佩剑一刀就把这个死结斩开了。

从此，Gordian knot就被人们用来称那些“难以解决的问题”，而cut the Gordian knot就指“干脆利落地解决复杂的问题”，也就是我们常说的“快刀斩乱麻”
